10-11 mealworms every night? do you do that? and is it healthy
i like using the heat bulbs because i gets my tanks to the right tempature but when they blow im probably just going to get a heat pad though

every other night, i do about 10. I use mealies that are only 3/4 though, so they are very small compared to the leopards..
It only makes sense to have belly heating on a terrestrial reptile.
Only way I’d use a lamp is with a ceramic heat emitter.

Hey is it ok if I use both a heat pad and a heat lamp but keep the heat lamp on for only 12 hours during the day than off at night?
