Hey nice gecko. That is a baby gecko right? Anyway u have any recent vids or pics of him/her , i was planning on getting an albino leo soon and i want to know what they look like when older so i know what to expect to breed it with my tremper giant.

Anyway seen a baby leo at petco yesterday for 29 bucks, was gunna buy it but wasnt sure wat it would look like as an adult and i only want a female so because its a baby i couldnt tell if it was male or female so i didnt buy it lol

I have one too, the exact same color pattern. His name is Gary. Don’t ever drop them. They get abscesses. I got Gary when he was a baby. He had an abscess but it cleared up. I even redid his stitches. Had to give him Baytril shots and he healed perfectly. Had to force feed him too w/syringe. Any questions or problems arise, let me know. I’m a vet tech. They’re pretty hardy and can live a long time past cats/dogs. Health problems easier to treat than regular lizards. Very hardy.
Gut load the crickets with fruits and veggies. Ur gecko needs these foods too and can get from crickets’s stomach contents. Also, a calcium powder-they need. Make sure all the skin sloughs off when shedding. If not, soak in reptile safe exofoliate product/spray. Skin left on toes results in loss of nails/toes. They will eat from hand if you shake a ‘fresh’ dead cricket or live one. They don’t usu. bite but if threatened/hurt they have teeth that cut! Gary bit me when force-feeding him
i know im not dumb? i do gutload my crickets and i do dust them with calcium.
I know. I was just putting that info out for new gecko parents. Gary scared me when he got an abscess and I thought he wasn’t going to make it but he did & recovered well, thankfully. However, he’s not eaten in two days now and seems to be tired of mealworms/crickets. What do I do? Where can I get waxie waxie thingies u feed urs? Petco had only dead dark-colored worms and that was no good. Gary’s becoming a wee bit picky eater nowadays.
well you can buy the waxworms normally in small yellow tubs even try fishing shops they often sell them or try mario worms or super worms but i hope he gets well soon

it’s where u feed the crickets fruits and veggies and specialty cricket feed from a pet store. Whatever u want your gecko to absorb nutrition-wise, u feed the crickets.

yes but in fishing shops u dont no if they’re leo safe.. they could have been raise dwith steroids… i use em for fishing but i only get food from reptile shops
